Īs it is I have used this stick almost daily for all those years flying IL2, Pros: I bought this Stick when it first came out in 2003 or so. I have no doubt this will last me quite some time. Would have made more sense the other way around but still the best joystick out there. A bit of a design flaw but the USB plug is on the throttle then another cable connects the throttle to the stick. If you're wondering, you can't use the stick alone. Feels so much more natural with the joystick and throttle. Electronics lasting this many years is unheard of in this day and age, and even more so that new X52s are still available on the market. Is it the best setup in the world? Due to old age, the rubber grips became sticky, but with a little rubbing alcohol and elbow grease, it cleaned right up.
